With Strings

Richard Tuttle & Charles Bernstein

2000-2001

constructed for the Poetry Plastique Show

The sculpure consists of the every letter in the first line of the poem, strung on
brass tubing into a terra cotte base that is filled with lines of the poem. The full
text of the poem is pasted in strips along the perimeter of each letter, so that
each letter is also a medium for the entire poem (or that part of it that would fit).
