Bei Ling

Statue

Do not say a word
Embodied in wind
We mould a moment eternal

Listen to the time cutting through the air
like a piece of rock
anxious rock frozen rock
extended as a pair of hands
slender hands smooth hands the scholars of life

Lingering unrooted song
bubbling water
I could ignore
The fame is on unfolded piece of paper
The sentence wears a grin as it crosses over time

I burned myself
I gathered the ashes into a fogged vision
and cast the mist

I'm restless I'm quiet
I'm simply proof in posture
fire in its solitude
