Gary Sullivan lives in Brooklyn with the poet Nada Gordon, with whom he co-edits the Poetry Project Newletter. In 2001 he co-edited Chain 8: Comics and published How to Proceed in the Arts (Faux Press) and Swoon (Granary Books, with Nada Gordon). His "New Life" comic strip has been serialized in Rain Taxi since 1997.
