Senior Writing Fellow Jo Ann Caplin publishes editorial on Da Vinci

Jo Ann Caplin

Jo Ann Caplin, Senior Fellow in Critical Writing who teaches seminars on Leonardo da Vinci and Einstein, recently published an editorial in the Philadelphia Inquirer about da Vinci. President of the Science Television Workshop, Caplin has had a distinguished career in television, most recently distinguished by her work on the nexus between art and science. As a producer for ABC News and CBS News she won two Emmys and two Peabody Awards for her work. Along with researching relationships between science and art, Caplin also explores science education. She has lectured on "Science and Art" extensively on in the US and England, including at Oxford University and the Institute of Neuroesthetics, and has been a visiting scholar at the University College London, Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology studying and lecturing on Science and Art.
