We are proud to recognize 6 of our former tutors for being selected Phi Beta Kappa: Mark Barry (Biological Basis of Behavior), Sophie Choi (Communications), Ryan Dew (Mathematics), Emily Schapira (Biology), Marcel Salas (Africana Studies) and Shivani Srivastav (English). The Electoral Board selects no more than 8% of each graduating class to become members of Phi Beta Kappa on the basis of grades, intellectual rigor, independent research and advanced work in their major.
