Amy Brown, a Fellow in the Critical Writing Program, has co-authored an opinion piece in the Philadelphia Inquirer, on why the Philadelphia school district should not approve more charter schools. Brown is an anthropologist who studies public education. Prior to becoming an anthropologist, she taught in public schools for several years.
