RealArts@Penn internship with Doug Robinson Productions

Doug Robinson (DR) Productions is seeking highly motivated and organized individuals who are interested in pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. An intern at DR Productions will be exposed to the forefront of the film development and production process. Interns will provide daily support to the development team, including but not limited to, reading scripts, writing coverage, answering phones, making runs, tackling daily office duties, and assisting with special projects. Interns will have opportunities to sit down with the company’s executives, spend time on set, and contribute to the production office.

Long-time Hollywood producer Doug Robinson had run the television operations of Adam Sandler’s comedy production company Happy Madison for over a decade and had sold CBS’s Rules of Engagement and ABC’s The Goldbergs series into syndication. Based at Sony Pictures TV, he has launched DR Productions to focus on developing drama and comedy series for broadcast, cable, and streaming. Fellow executives include film producer Alison Greenspan, who focuses on drama development (she had most recently partnered with Denise Di Novi and worked on the adaptations of If I Stay, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and Best of Me) and Matt Mosko, a Happy Madison executive who focuses on comedy development.
