This event was a live "netcast" (audiocast) to which a number of writers and poets throughout the world tuned in live via the web. It was the first such use of web-based audio streaming attempted by the Writers House.
Two netcasts were put on, one on August 21, 1997, and another on December 16, 1997. So far as we know, a recording of the December 16 show does not survive. But we have converted the August 21 netcast from RealAudio format to mp3. It is now part of the PennSound archive.
