Alan:

We could see when you were in 4th grade, your potential as a writer. We remember the stories that you and your class mate, Robert Lee wrote about your ice hockey hero, Brad Parks, of the NY Rangers. We actually thought that you would pursue a career in ice hockey. You spent many hours at skating and ice hockey through high school.

We also thought that you were heading for a career in music since your interest were with the cello and later the base.

We assume that the pen (computer) is easier to handle than the hockey equipment or the string instruments.

Love,
Mom and "Pops"
