Programs Plus
Regularly over the course of the semester, the Kelly Writers House will hold a post-program moderated online discussion to allow program attendees and anyone who is interested to connect with the readings, program content, and each other. This is our way of keeping alive the post-program reception atmosphere beyond the online event broadcast. Programs Plus participants dissect writers’ works, reflect on speakers’ conversations, and — for certain programs — share their own writing! Writers House staff members moderate these discussions by asking questions and providing writing prompts. All are welcome, and all materials will be provided; the only thing you need to bring to these online discussions is an interest in the writer or topic of the program!
How to Participate
Sign up here and we’ll let you know every time there’s a Programs Plus discussion you can sign up for! Our discussions occur asynchronously through listservs (electronic mailing lists). Everyone can contribute as much or as little as they’d like; whether you check the discussion listserv once a week or once an hour, whether you’re a conversation-starter or a speculator, you have a place in Programs Plus.
