Kelly Writers House podcastsKELLY WRITERS HOUSE PODCASTS:
If you have ITunes, click here:
itpc://writing.upenn.edu/wh/podcast.xmlWe’re very excited to announce that the Writers House is now podcasting! For those of you who don't know, a podcast is a service to which you can subscribe that will "send" you media files (audio or video), at regular intervals, in episodic form. This is a way for you to hear a selection of Writers House events without having attended the programs in Philadelphia and without even having to visit the web site.
If you subscribe, Kelly Writers House podcasts will be automatically downloaded to your computer, as we release them. We are planning on releasing a new recording of an exciting Writers House event every two weeks during our events year (September through May).
To subscribe to our podcast (which is FREE, of course), all you need to do is:
1) install the newest version of iTunes http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
2) click this link: itpc://writing.upenn.edu/wh/podcast.xml (or paste it into your browser)Alternatively, you can:
1) open iTunes
2) click the "Advanced" menu
3) select "Subscribe to Podcast"
4) enter http://writing.upenn.edu/wh/podcast.xml into the box
5) click OK
You will see the Writers House podcast being added to your iTunes, and the first episode will start downloading automatically. From then on, every two weeks, whenever you open your iTunes program, the next episode will download.
We recommend using iTunes for listening to our podcast, but if you use another program, you can still connect. The URL of the podcast is:
http://writing.upenn.edu/wh/podcast.xml
We hope that you will enjoy Kelly Writers House Podcasts.
Please write to whpodcast@writing.upenn.edu if you experience any problems or if you have recommendations of Writers House readings that you would like to see broadcast.
