BODY SCHOOL
by Ray Federman

here all is very callisthenic
and cerebro-hygienic
and promotive of great strength
and beauty
in the morning we lay on the roof
to bronze our bottoms and impudenda
the rest of the day
it's dancing and singing
and music and douches
and frictions and bending
and stretching and classes
harmonie
anatomie
psychologie
improvisation
with a gallic ictus
on the last syllable in each case
at the end of the day
we take advil
and float into oblivion
