'OLELO HAWAI'I (Hawaiian Language) portrays how the Hawaiian language fell into general disuse through American governmental repression that began with the overthrow of the legitimate native goverm-nent of Hawai'i in 1893. Conversely, it also portrays how the language is presently being spoken again through an ongoing revival.
