Like &#39;em or not, none of them is quietistic.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Frank O&#39;Hara won the Hopwood Award at the University of Michigan.  John Ashbery judged it one year when I was a student there.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Aeschylus won some awards for his poetic dramas too.  Nothing quietistic there!
