They are big and do carry a lot of books, and they don&#39;t smell bad, and have good coffee and such.  But my brother runs one of them in Washington, DC and he has told me that books that don&#39;t sell have to be sent back.  It&#39;s part of corporate policy or something. Our business is 95% walk-in for those sections and for the store in general. The web has been a help of course but our busines remains primarily brick &amp; mortar. the advantage and bane of not being fueled by profit, (i.e. we are non-profit), sometimes the funds for things like that are hard to come by, epecially when we offer so many other things to the community.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;But I guess that&#39;s the only knock on us.
