I did a little research on the former Maryland Poet Laureate and I can see she was a true people&amp;#39;s poet. From the few poems of hers I&amp;#39;ve read it&amp;#39;s also apparent she wasn&amp;#39;t the typical &amp;#39;academic&amp;#39; poet-hack who writes only for language movements.
