Book Marks
Today, going through the boxes, I found my copy of Ed Dorn’s “Slinger” from 1975. Around it was the dust-jacket we made a few of at Zephyrus Image for Dorn’s reading of the work at the San Francisco Museum of Art in November of that year. Holbrook Teter had set the type for the book, Rob Rusk had taken the author’s photograph and Michael Myers had carved an initial “g” for the beginning of Book IIII. We used a drawing Michael had made on a napkin at the corner Pub and I scribbled some quick quotes. In the pages of the book I found a review by Michael McClure, a letter from my son Lloyd, a Biorhythm print-out, and the Guest Pass to the reading. Snippets.
