Jennifer Tran, a Wharton freshman in Katherine Kramer’s ‘Street Art’ Critical Writing Seminar, recently had an Op-Ed she wrote for class published in the odyssey, a site for and run by college students. http://theodysseyonline.com/upenn/street-art-hate/273531

In ‘Why do People Hate Street Art?,’ Tran writes that street art “has to power to promote democracy, transform space, and make people feel like they are a part of the urban space…they inhabit.” Kramer, a Senior Fellow in Fine Arts, says she encouraged all her students to submit their op-eds to their selected publications.
