Art Spiegelman, Lynne Sharon Schwartz, Jerome Rothenberg Named Kelly Writers House Fellows

PHILADELPHIA -- The community of writers and artists at the University of Pennsylvania's Kelly Writers House has named Art Spiegelman, Lynne Sharon Schwartz and Jerome Rothenberg Writers House Fellows for spring 2008.

Artist and graphic novelist Spiegelman will visit Penn Feb. 18-19, writer Schwartz March 24-25 and poet Rothenberg April 28-29.

Each fellow's visit will begin with a 6:30 p.m. Monday reading at Kelly Writers House, 3805 Locust Walk, followed by a 10 a.m. Tuesday brunch and an interview-conversation there the next morning, webcast live.

Students in the Writers House Fellows Seminar, taught by Writers House Faculty Director Al Filreis, will study the work of all three fellows.
