The organization of the Writers House Fellows seminar was perfect: it was a small group of self-selected people who gave of themselves by participating--in and out of class. This dynamic made my learning (in terms of understanding how the text is operating and the larger social considerations raised by the author) increase exponentially. I had twenty teachers for one class--the best student/teacher ratio I've encountered at Penn!
