i'll me
you'll you
and we'll copy the definitions from the dictionary
in it, over it
i might just be on love with you now
spatial relations
according to our stars
different ways of clusters
but how much does language
really change thought?
can you give me four words for this
feeling
a four letter word that means spatial relationship
making space
i can never reason with myself anyhow

Kirsten, a couple quick thoughts about this poem "Space" which I like an
awful lot - the way "me" and "you" work as verbs is great - "performing
the self" in this weirdly literal way. "on love" instead of "in love" I
like too. "How much does langauge / really change thought" - are you
giving away the game too much there? Maybe, I think. And one little
technical thing which occurred: breaking the final 2 lines:
"I can never reason
with myself anyhow"
So that maybe you get an extra hard accent on "self" out of that which is
interesting, as well as a new way to look at the word "reason." Good,
good, good, more maybe later. -m.
