Paola Mieli is a practicing psychoanalyst in New York City, co-founder and president of Apres-Coup Psychoanalytic Association, member of Le Cercle Freudien (Paris), and faculty member of the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis (Berkeley) and at the School of Visual Arts (NYC). She is the author of numerous articles on psychoanalysis.

Paul Muldoon is regarded as one of Ireland's finest poets. He is the author of six collections of poetry and a screenplay. He has also translated work of poets writing in the Irish language. He currently teaches at Princeton University.

David Lavin is a fingerstyle solo player and songwriter originally from Minnesota. He has performed throughout the Midwest and Northeast of the United States,as well as various locations in Europe. After finishing a year studying at Berklee College of Music, David returned to Philadelphia last year, where he has been studying with Philadelphia Blues Great "Philadelphia" Jerry Ricks, and was recently a featured performer on "Live at the Writers House," which airs on WXPN.- 4:00-6:00 PM: A performance of one-act comedies written by graduating senior and writer Michael Schein.
Michael Schein is a graduating senior and the author of Teenage Roadhogs, a humorous and thorough driving manual for teens. He's originally from Miami, Florida.- Cancelled: 10:15-11:15 AM: Alumni Day presents: "Biography!"
This panel will discuss the difficulties of faithfully capturing someone else's life and work on paper. Can you include all the flaws when you know your subject personally? Can you do your subject justice if he or she is an historical figure? Bob Lucid will discuss his forthcoming biography of his friend and colleague, writer Norman Mailer, and Ben Yagoda will talk about writing the 1993 Will Rogers: A Biography.
