ARTIST BIOS
Rachel Mackow is a photographer, writer, and musician currently living in
Philadelphia. Her black and white photography has been exhibited
internationally, from Newark's Ironbound section to the National Library
in Havana, Cuba. In addition she has contributed her photographs and
essays to The Philadelphia Independent and Ladyfest Philly. Mackow
continues to document urban and rural emptiness throughout her travels as
an artist and laborer.
Benjamin Tiven
Benjamin Tiven, a freelance photographer currently working Philadelphia,
is the founding editor of The Philadelphia Independent and he
continues to
serve as co-editor.
