We had a brief report by Al and Matt Bixler regarding the dialogue that they have been having with the architect who has drawn up blueprints for the house after rennovations. A number of things have had to be cut to save on the budget, namely the garden on the side of the house, and (maybe) the central air conditioning.

We have some new members to the "hub" listserv and to the discussion, whose input we welcome:

Info and notes on the upcoming March 28 "Big Bash" (official name= Writers House: Writing a Community):

• Again, we are conceiving the evening's goals to be twofold,
  • everybody writes
  • teacher/student barrier smashed!
• We have letterheads, are now in super-mode to get commitments!
• We are conceiving a massive publicity campaign, creating a real buzz for the Writers House and this event. Posters, an email blitz, etc.
• We went over the list of people to invite, and added some names. Elliot will post to the listserv the new list and some more info on who has been committing.
