Scotland
Forever Free
Andrew McGhie
Scotland forever free
On Bruce's banes we swear that it will be
The blud o' Wallace, it aye will call us
For thee, we will do or die (dee)
Scotland we pledge to thee
Head, heart and hands through the years yet to be
Lands of our fathers where each clan gathers
>From the Borders to the Hebrides
Unhooked from servile chains
We have proof that our spirit still remains
For our foe we'll turn, like Bannockburn
When we fight for the cause once again, and again
Scotland forever fair
With your lochs, burns and glens, oh so rare
Your moors and mountains, gardens and fountains
With you there is none can compare
Scotland forevermore
You'll return to your stature of yore
The greatest nation for education
Yes, that will be our core
Scotland forever home
And no matter how far we may roam
Its still exciting, at that first sighting
Of the hills of Caledon-ia
Oh, Scotland forever free
On Bruce's banes we swear that it will be
For the blud o' Wallace, it aye will call us
For thee, we will do or die
Scotland forever free!
