Throughout the 1980s and 1990s Deanna Ferguson was a major figure in the Vancouver poetry scene that formed around the Kootenay School of Writing. Although she withdrew from poetry in the early 2000s, we are fortunate that Ferguson's two brilliant, influential books The Relative Minor (Tsunami Editions) and Rough Bush (/ubu editions) are available online through Ubu Web.
