Yorkshire, U.K.

550pp.

An international compilation of poetry and prose, featuring odd illustrations and photos as well. Some really decent talent. Among the better of the pieces is "Bridgework" by E.J. Cullen--an allegorical story which, through the world of dentistry, expresses the superficiality of life. The final lines say it best: "The rot comes on. The rot will have its way. Those teeth will go, as all have gone before." Deep.--Deidre Wickers
