Strange how going to another country changes your perspective, yet you never really leave your self behind. McKinnon goes to Belize City; in between tending bar and shooting pool he keeps a "cool head and a keen eye", maintains his straight-talking working guy persona, and mines characters and material for some more of his honest, smooth poems.--luigi
