High-quality poetry in the MFA mold. Polished gems, crisp and precise and somehow more perfect than anything real. A pal calls it "high and dry lit". Subject matter seems to be either life-and-death, or ordinary but heightened to that kind of level. I often admire and sometimes enjoy the display of technique--othertimes I mistrust the separateness and elevation.--luigi
