There has always been something wonderfully unpretentious about BOLD PRINT. Page after page you get the sense of people living, struggling to survive, struggling for identity, yet retaining a sense of humor. Most of these poets and story tellers aren't concerned with loft literary aspirations, they're writing to come clean with themselves and the world. The graphics generally come closer to graffiti, which enhances the streetwise aesthetic. Reading this stuff makes you feel less alone, gives you a sense of the community.
