This long poem of short, linked segments has a peculiar sort of Raymond Roussel meets Bert Brecht with Basho quality. Parentheses continually interrupt the text's flow creating a surreal alienation effect haiku sequence that's really quite fascinating. There are so many parenthetical partitions it is almost as if the other materials have leaked out in loco parenthesis. This is an innovative little book.--Tom Beckett
