Very tight literal surrealistic images that want to involve the reader in the poet's interior turmoil. This is somewhat of a painful trip... not too many laughs here. Has a political edge and combined with the apocalyptic visions this kind of writing can wear one down if you're looking for a romp in the hay with *LANGWIDGE*. But then, Garcia Lorca wasn't exactly a Groucho Marx either. Large fullpage format.--Bill Paulauskas
