Exactly as advertised, a collection of single-paragraph prose pieces. Mostly narratives, fully complete and self-contained. Several strong, believable real-life stories; others with the twisted linearity of dreams--bathtubs full of snakes, blue wolves falling on you, that sort of thing. Language & images honed and sharp, trimmed of all fat, as appropriate to the limited space allotted. Fine.--luigi
