This chapbook is all "cat" (Cheryl Townsend) poetry with 8 pages of Oberc artwork. Cat rants on in anger, with the centerpiece of most of these poems being children. Nasty, hateful, apoplectic poems about childhood horrors--prepubescent girls raped, newborns abandoned in dumpsters, unwanted babies born into a rotten world because of restrictive abortion laws. Strong stuff that hits the reader over the head with fury and shouted subjectivity.--Roger-Kyle Keith
