Technically-conventional poems that mostly discuss reality rather than ascend from it, but are nonetheless often effective: for example, Lora Dunetz's elegy for her storm-loving father, and an amusingly chagrined plaint by Lawrence Watson about how hard it is for him to get more of his physicality than his brain and hands into his poetry.--Bob Grumman
