Surprize!--this zine covers the (quite active) poetry scene in Nashville. The Newsletter covers events, open mikes, as well as special shows and festivals. There's plenty of poetry here as well, including further installments of Joe Speer's "work in progress" which is titled by the page number. The subjects change from paragraph to paragraph, but they're all somehow related--political, historical, personal anecdote--the stuff of life and poetry.--Jake Berry
