Nimmo always grabs my attention, and in this collection he starts with an essay about the death of Samuel Beckett, leaps into a great NO BUDWEISER IN THE LESBIAN ART COLONY bar story, and then talks about being alienated from poets and poetry. I happen to agree with what he has to say in both the stories and essays in this collection; and I think that Nimmo's willingness to put his balls on the cutting board of political incorrectness shows a decisiveness many writers lack. Nimmo knows what he thinks, and let's you have it point blank.--oberc
