Larry Tomoyasu specializes in interestingly unsettling combinations (but not collages) of texts and visual images. In Radio Electronics, a sequence of such works, he uses a typed narrative, cursive annotations about the devil as "a non-existent radio station," and (slightly distorted, over-exposed, out-of-context) snapshots of people and places to explore dream-reality versus waking reality.--Bob Grumman
