Make it small and do it in 50 words or less. The microtext for your delectation. Most of the sources are SF, but all bear the requisite hermetic compactness. A commentary follows each selection. This is truly the age of the sound byte--will it become the age of the lit byte? As technology causes attention spans to drop, such concision will be a useful skill in the grim determinisms of literary Darwinsm.--as
