Once a journal of descriptions of actual defecations, SD continues to mutate in form and content. And while I miss the shits, I love what has replaced them. This one came folded origami-like and contains an assemblage of various writers, sometimes as a single text. A rough draft of part of a Willie Smith story reveals the mind behind the madness at work and a small two part surrerotic drawing by Bob Grumman are personal favorites here. But an excerpt from Rane Arroyo's take on Hamlet that includes Sid Vicious and a variety of other weird turns is excellent as well. Not a slack spot anywhere. A good shit indeed.--Jake Berry
