TIGHT covers all points of the poetry otherstream about as completely as a small mag can. It seems that Ann tries to present a representative sample of everything known to her, and this is probably the fairest thing an editor can do, but so few even try, preferring to opt for some particular bias. Some of the things that caught me on first pass were the excerpts from Al Hellus's "pieces of 13 dreams": "the bones of the catfish assemble/ and form an act of leaving", or from "Revelry" by Mahdy Y. Khaiyat, "The bodies fuse/ Under the shadow of the alpenglow." There is much accessible free verse, etc. here as well.--Jake Berry
