The author's note says this one's about "looking hard at the seamy filthy unpleasant side of life" and sure enough, it is. Words tumble over each other, slam together in a mosh pit of imagery to create a space for themselves, push thoughts and events at the reader as quickly as Husker Du (the band, not the child's game.) Repetitive, dirty, funny, and pocket-sized to boot.--Roger-Kyle Keith
