October 2009Pushing Water: Music by Tim Risher, using fragments of the poem, "Pushing Water" (primarily part 30 of this 52-part poem) by Charles Alexander. Tim Risher also composed the 10-part song cycle, Aviary Corridor, which premiered in 2007 in Seattle, Washington, and was a setting of Alexander's poem of the same name, for string quartet, flute, piano, and soprano vocals.
